I’m sure that most of you know about the recent explosion in prices that we are seeing in firearms and firearm parts and accessories here in the United States since the tragedy that happened at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Since then, AR-15s and AR-15 magazines are extremely hard to find and, if you are able to locate them, the prices have skyrocketed. Prior to recent events, I could purchase Magpul, Pmags for approximately $12 a piece. Now I’m seeing prices for mags reach up to $50 a piece.
I was lucky enough to find a small number of USGI 30 Round AR-15 Magazines for sale for a decent price here locally. After I made the purchase, I realized that I didn’t necessarily need all of them. So, what I have done is put 15 of them up for sale on gunbroker.com. For those of you who don’t know what Gunbroker is, its like EBAY for guns, parts, and ammo. I have put up two auctions, one of them is for 5 magazines with NO RESERVE. The second auction is for 10 Magazines and I did place a small reserve on that one but the reserve has already been met. Still though, if you are interested, these mags should go cheap. If you do the math, on one of the auctions, the mags are averaging about $5 a piece and the other auction is at about $8 a piece. So if you need a handful of mags and you don’t have a lot of scratch to invest in them, check out my auctions here and here. Listed below I will place the Auction # so that you so you can copy and paste into the search box of gunbroker.com in case the links fail to work properly.
